Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know before your first class

What can I expect from class?

This is a 60 minute class: the first 40 minutes are a gentle Pilates workout designed for moms to get moving. Class is intended for all levels of post partum and expecting moms. The goal is not to be the most intense workout you have ever experienced. After the workout, we spend 15 minutes chatting and connecting to build community and friendships.

What do I need to bring?

  • A baby carrier (if you plan to wear your baby)

  • Water

  • Your baby’s essentials (blanket, milk, snacks, toys, seat, etc.)

  • Comfortable clothes you can move in

We provide a calm, welcoming space as well as Pilates mats— just bring yourself and your little one.

Strollers should be left outside the room but diaper bags are welcome inside.

What if my baby cries during class?

That’s totally okay — it’s expected! This is a mommy and me class, which means babies are part of the experience. You can pause anytime to feed, soothe, or cuddle. No one will mind — we’re all moms, and we get it.

Who can join class?

Class is safe for both post postpartum and expecting moms who have clearance by their medical provider.

When can I start coming to class after giving birth?

Most moms can begin around 6 weeks postpartum (after your provider gives you the all-clear). If you had a C-section, you may want to wait 8–10 weeks or until your incision is fully healed. Always check with your healthcare provider before starting.

Do I need prior Pilates experience?

Not at all! Our classes are beginner-friendly and designed specifically for postpartum bodies. We’ll guide you through every movement with modifications and support.

Can I come if my baby is older?

Absolutely! Babies of all ages are welcome. Some moms join when their babies are just 6 weeks, others at 6 months or more. The focus is on you — movement, recovery, and connection.

Can I come without my baby?

Yes! While our classes are baby-friendly, moms are always welcome to come solo if that feels best that day.

What if I’m not ready for a full class?

Come as you are. You can move at your own pace, rest when needed, or just enjoy being in a supportive space with other moms.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens! Please make sure to cancel 12 hours ahead of class so we can refund you.
